Lady Shawana Alicia Elwood a woman of God believing all things are possible for those who trust and believe. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Lady Elwood was given at an early age by her parents Bishop Gregory and Marilyn Bryant the tools to be a graceful, poised, effective and faith-driven woman of God! Along with her fraternal twin sister she received her elementary school education from the private schools in DeKalb County, Georgia. Lady Elwood received her secondary Education from Johnson C. Smith University in Charlotte, North Carolina, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in General Science with a major concentration in Biology. Lady Elwood is pursuing her Masters of Divinity at the Interdenominational Theological Center in Atlanta, Georgia on March 24, 2011 she was licensed to preach in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. Having been the director of the Young People Division at Greater St. Paul AME Church in Boynton Beach, FL where she also served as the Local Missionary Advisor for the Woman’s Missionary Society she received a nomination for the Missionary Of the Year Award 2008. She was one the presenter for the Sister 2 Sister Women’s Conference in Miami, Florida. She is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated.

Lady Elwood is married to the awesome man of God Pastor Anton G. Elwood the Pastor of New Mt. Zion AME Church in Tallahassee, FL where she serves faithfully with her husband in ministry. She is also a proud parent of one daughter Kaylin Alyse Elwood. Lady Shawana Elwood believes and lives everyday from the motto: “In all Thy getting, get understanding!”
